Didn't have a chance to make an entry since I made it home to PA. My middle sis did away with her internet at mom's house since she doesn't really use it and my b-i-l's computer & dsl is really shitty compared to last yr. I weep at how I probably won't have the chance to dl any anime while I'm here.
My flight to BWI was pretty quick, we were supposed to get there at 12:45 on Sat and got there instead at 12:20 but I still had to wait on mom and b-i-l since they were stuck in traffic on 695.
As usual, I'll be staying at my older sis's house since she's here during the weekdays and already my nephews act like I won't be here the next day. Yesterday, they wanted me to play with this, play with that, play with me that I had to keep reminding them that I WILL BE HERE FOR TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!! No need to try and get everything in during one day, sheesh!
Knock on wood but when I saw my middle sis the first time later Sat evening, we didn't even get into a fight. She was pretty civil. My neighbor was about to ask me last night as to what we fight about all the time and all sis has to do is open her mouth about something she knows would piss me off, gets me all fired up. I guess this time she didn't have anything to throw in my face considering she knows I have plenty of ammo myself when it comes to the stupid shit she's been doing.
The weather has been cool but was humid as fuck on Sat and part of Sun morning. I had wondered whose humidity was worse, TX or here. But at least here, there was a cool breeze to go along with the humidity whereas TX, it's just hot air.
Even though I had my shows set to record at home while I was here, I so wished my older sis had a DVR cause last night's Metalocalpyse was funny as hell!!!!!!!!! This show gets better and better each Sunday night.
I hadn't had the chance to watch Bleach #2 from last week but I did watch Sat night's with my nephew. I don't mind Orihime and Tatsuki's voice so far, just hate the way they say Orihime's name. Rukia still needs work but in some crazy way, she's kinda growing on me.

Because of my b-i-l's internet and compy has been acting slow, I do get the chance to check out my flist but its kinda hard to really comment on anything cause it takes nearly forever for a page to load.
I'm so frustrated cause for Bleach Quickies, the character this week is Renji BUT the prompts aren't so good. I can't think of squat for the choices: dental floss, book, bag, shutters, doll. The minimum to write for the comm is 3 prompts and I can't even think of 3 to write about!!!!
If anyone and I do mean ANYONE *taps on microphone* Hello, is this thing on??
PLEASE feel free to give me some ideas on what to write for him and ONLY with Rukia (duh!) I was excited waiting for his chance to come around and now that it is, my creative boner just deflated. You can either give me the ideas here in the comments or drop me an email. Word count has to be around 200 and I have till the 30th to come up with something.
I'd highly appreciate the help!! I got plenty of time to write this week.

book: Rukia brings an certain book home from the living world and they have some fun 'reading' a new page every night (yey cliche!)
doll: Renji reflects on Rukia's sweet, doll-like appearance vs her behaviour/performance
dental floss: someone wants to know where Rukia got the red dental floss, wonders if it tastes like cinnamon (ok I'm so very sorry, but the idea cracks me up!)
bag: Renji, Rukia, and a bag of confetti candy, just like in the old days... with a new twist

They all seem like it'd be something to work with, I just hope I can manage to create something this time around. I can only pray that when Rukia's time comes around, the prompts will be better. Hell I'm still writing for the one prompt that was for Orihime "watch" that I was writing for her and Ichigo. The idea sounded like it could go longer so I did (and still am but nearing the end) but that was the only prompt I could get motivated to write about.
Shutters does sound a bit weird, why the fuck would someone pick the word shutters anyway?
Thanx for the ideas, I'll try not to disappoint.

On a semi-unrelated note, I am liking the IchiOri angle lately...
I had a brainwave about shutters... could be something as simple as staring out at the moonlight together, then closing the shutters before going to bed (could do a sweet moment here).

"How hard can it be?" *grind clunk*)Pad: After a training accident or a big fight, nurse Rukia or Renji wrapping something to "pad" the other's bruises, sexiness ensues (kiss it better, aww).
Letter: Oh fun! Something based on following the "letter" of the law, ala someone in the recent chapter (avoids spoiling those who are not caught up). "Well you didn't tell us not to have wild sex in your..." (Ichigo's closet, Byakuya's desk, etc. Funnier if it's Byakuya.)
Alcohol: He tasted a hint of alcohol on her tongue... or more fun, someone (insert favourite drinker of choice here, Matsumoto as matchmaker, or Shunsui, or anyone from 11th...) spills alcohol all over them, Renji takes her to his place to get cleaned up, sticky smexiness ensues as they try to figure out just what that odd blue drink was (because it tasted so darned good when they licked it off). ^_^

Poor Kon! I love him but it is so much fun putting him through bad situations. One of the things I did like about the filler episodes when Renji first showed up was when Kon was snapping off about how noisy it was. I cried from laughing.

Actually, this yr, I didn't see my middle sis very much. And even during the times when I went over to mom's and she was there getting ready to go out, we actually talked without starting something. This past Sunday, we almost had a yelling match but get this shit, alot of this INSTIGATING was started by MOM!! I was even more shocked that sis went along with me and my b-i-l when he drove me to the airport. We acted pretty civil which I'm sure my b-i-l was happy about.

I love having that sort of connection to ppl that I feel comfortable with or feel close to.
The quickie comm now does a potluck where the prompts are doubled, the word count is doubled, the submission limit is doubled, and you have TWO WEEKS instead of one. So I'm sure I'll be making an entry when that time rolls around cause no doubt I'll need ideas like before.

Pad: You know those mats that are in dojos? I can see Renji and Rukia training together and Rukia knocking Renji on his ass (on the mat/pad). Then he starts being a ham and pretending to sulk and Rukia takes pity on him and makes him feel better *lol*
Letter: Maybe Rukia could write a sexually charged letter but then use her crazy coding to disguise it. *lol* Can you imagine the look on Renji's face when he decodes it, preferably in the 6th Division HQ!? But
Alcohol: I would like to see Rukia drink Renji under the table. Maybe have Rukia walk sloshed (or so she thinks) Renji home only to find out he was pretending so they would be able to get away from everyone else.

God, I can't wait till either Ikkaku or Mizuho is picked cause either way, I want to write those two together!!! I'm just sad that I was never able to really write anything for Orihime with Ichigo when she was chosen. I did start one of the prompts (watch) but the idea I had in mind decided to go longer so I said screw it and just write it as a longer drabble (though I'm a bit stuck near the end).
I think I might be able to incorporate two or three of the prompts together in one writing. Would help knock it out in the long run, now all I have to do is get the brain jump started and write something!
I finished that uhhh....drabble of sorts late Sat night. I do plan on cleaning it up better once my beta gets back with me (hopefully it doesn't take TOO long).
Is it soon Nov yet? I'm getting anxious on sending you your gift but I'll probably do that near the end of Oct so you can have it close to or on your actual bday.
