Back at home plus goodies and thanx

Feels a little weird being back in TX but it'll come natural soon enough. Thank god I took an extra night off for work but dread going back tomorrow. I'll eventually post all the pics I took from this yr and last yr. Now that I have a little free time, I'll finally get the chance to catch up on responding to comments.

The thing that annoyed the piss out of me while waiting in the security line at BWI yesterday was, considering how many ppl and how huge the lines were, WHY IN THE HELL would you close off one of the areas to where there was only one security area opened??!!! By having the two they did have open, helped the lines go quicker. So not only did they have one station open, but our line had to merge with the other. Thank god my gate was right when you walk out of security.

Never fails that while away, I always get packages in the mail. First half was a shit load of Renji/Rukia goodies and the 2nd half belated birthday goods.

Thanx so much again scarbie for the Devil May Cry game!! The first thing I opened was the card and just busted out laughing and laughed harder at the F.U.N sticker. (that song always gets stuck in my head) I totally look forward to attacking the music and manga. *dances* Just promise not to hurt me too much when your bday comes around ^___^.

That's happened to me before, getting packages while I'm away. It's kinda nice, though, when you're tired after a long day, and you get a nice little surprise in the mail :) Well, hopefully in the mail. I don't like it when I have to drive down to the post office to pick it up. Blah.

As for RenRuki, did you get the new Honey Canon doujinshi of them? Slow Match? I also have this doujinshi called Tonari, but I unfortunately didn't save the picture, and now I might not have the circle/artist information ;__;

As for other doujinshi... heh... I got got a Wufei/Sally anthology. I'm also planning to hunt down a copy of HC's Runaway, when I've got the time.

I went home to visit family the last two weeks.

The package from Japan hubby got a slip saying he had to go pick it up but he was able to have them drop it off since he's at work when they close. I was so anxious to look at the djs that came.

One of them was the one I said about how Rukia was sick when he went to go see her and you asked me if I knew the title. It turned out to be a pretty book.

I saw Slow Match, I'm hoping to get a hold of it by the end of the week. It's been going for an obnoxious amount on Y!J, around 2,000-2,100 yen even though it started out around 500-700 yen. I don't believe I heard of Tonari. Also, weren't you looking for the dj I have up for sale on renji_rukia?

I've been buying a good bit of repeats that I have in my dj collection for prizes and gifts.

I've seen Runaway a good bit on auction which is surprising since I heard it was a dj hard to get or it went for alot but that must've been awhile back cause I think it's been cheap for all the times I've seen it listed.

There's an ebay auction for Slow Match--just went up this morning, I believe.

And as for Run Away, I'm trying to find a North American seller, because fees for buying on YJA rack up. It isn't worth my while buying one doujinshi at a time. I prefer lots from YJA.

I know of one N.A. seller who has Run Away, but I'll wait till about mid-week before I'll email them on the price of it and some others. Hope it won't be too bad >___>

And yes, Wadachi is one I'm looking for, but I'm waiting for some of my paypal payments to be withdrawn so I can figure out how much money I actually have. The figure is misleading and I know I did a fair amount of shopping once I deposited my pay cheque. I'll have to pass at the moment ;____;

And is that a new layout I see for renji_rukia? I'll have to go to my computer downstairs, because my wireless is shoddy and I can't see the banner/whatever's on top. Still, nice change though :)

I was checking out Toshi's site once I got back from vacation and I can't believe the HUGE change his site went through. He doesn't have the shitload of djs that he used to have. I think he only has like 7-9 Bleach djs and two of them are by Angel Service. But I don't blame the guy for changing considering the huge amount of djs he had taking up space in his home. I haven't talked to him in ages since he was my main supplier of GW djs. Really nice guy, he had such a talker on when he found out I was from TX since he used to come visit his friend.

If I don't get a buyer for that dj, if you'd like, I can hold it for you if you want it.

As for the layout on the comm, yeah it's new and no, nothing was wrong with your computer. The girl's domain was down for a bit so it wasn't showing up but NOW its working. I'm glad it went with a new look, the previous black was too depressing.

And okay, this might sound like the stupidest question, but is Toshi a guy or girl? I've seen people refer to Toshi as both, so now I'm confused. I've been buying from Toshi for about over a year now, I believe, and the site was great. Probably makes things easier on Toshi's end, but just when I think I ordered all the ones I want, an update comes around and I can't get more because I've budgeted my money ;___; Like that GinRan dj that's there--I WANT.

Maybe this Friday, if it's still there... hmmm...

And sure, I'll take the RenRuki off your hands if there isn't a buyer on RenRuki. And when I get Tonari, I'll scan the cover for you, if you want. I'll see if I can dig up the circle information too.

Toshi is a guy. I'm not sure if he still does it or not but every time I got a package from him, he would draw little doodles on his letter he'd write (mostly GW related since it was what I bought). I've been dealing with him since '00 and I just got so fed up with seeing all the yaoi but barely any het. One time I asked him about some Bambi Takada stuff and not long after, he responded back saying what all he found for me. After that, he started posting ALOT more het. If it weren't for him, I would never have had half of my BT collection, especially the older books.

It just never fails. When Slow Match was on Y!J the first two times, ppl were going ape shit over it with outrageous ending bids. So it was listed again and thought I'd try to bid on it again while also keeping my eye on the one with ebay. Well I won it on ebay (I didn't want to pay that much for it though, I should've waited till the veryvery last sec to put my bid in) and THEN just my luck, I won it on Y!J too though this time, I was pretty lucky and got it BELOW 1,000yen (talk about shocking!!). For once, there was only one other bidder. I guess by having doubles, I can either use it for contest prizes, surprise a friend (bday or holiday), or if I get desperate enough, sell it.

Hubby told me that in early Nov, he has to fly to Chicago for 2 days for his work. If he would've been notified of this much earlier, I would've seen if I could've taken two days off of work (only cause we're in 4th quarter right now and not sure how picky they are about how many days we can take off) to go with him. Though I would have to pay my tix with our money since his work is paying for him to go, I would've seen how close you were to wherever it is he has to be at. It would've been awesome to have had the chance to meet you and give you your bday gift in person (then you could really smack me with your sales paper *lol*).

I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet but do you think you'll might try to go to Otakon next yr? It's still on my agenda for next yr and a great time for the con since it will be on the weekend of my 30th bday.

Just to be on the safe side, what email addy should I use to contact you? There seems to be quite the high chance (pretty much near confirmed) that I can go with hubby to Chicago. And I'll just keep you updated through email on what hubby decides on what's what when we are there so I can plan my stuff on meeting you are well. As far as I know, the dates are Nov. 6 & 7.

Hubby informed me this afternoon that the early Nov dates have been postponed till maybe Nov.27. I'm hoping they either keep to that date or quit getting my hopes up and just cancel the whole thing. But as long as they continue with this, I should be able to go whenever the date.

So I guess I'll send your bday gift in the mail after all.

You can still drop me an email and include your phone number in it so I have it handy.

Just letting ya know I also received your info email the other day too. I sent your bday gift out this morning but I have a feeling you won't get it ON your bday since we know how slow the PO likes to move so you might have it by the end of the week. I almost forgot about sending it out since I couldn't believe that the end of Oct was like HERE.
