Avatar: Lake Laogai dl and movie rec.

Man, Avatar keeps getting better as the seasons roll out. This eps surely pulled at the heart strings again and holy shit, Zuko sure is getting pretty shaggy; wish my hair could grow that fast. Beneath the cut are slight spoilers and caps I took of Shaggy!Zuko.



I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes when Appa was finally united with Aang and of course it made it worse when Aang shed tears over getting Appa back.

I totally dug Katara's reaction when she first saw Jet along with Toph picking on her about him.

OH JET! I hope the creators aren't that cruel. After that scene, I wanted to squish Longshot so much. *weeps*

I just hope that Iroh's wisdom sinks into Zuko's brain alot more than before though it does seem Zuko has learned to move on a bit in this eps.

As for the movie rec. I saw it listed on Cinemax recently and thought I'd give it a try since I saw a few on my flist talk about it when it first came out.

Kiss,Kiss,Bang,Bang stars Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr. It's actually a good movie. I laugh at the role Val played and Robert kept me laughing at the shit he did. But I'm not going to say anymore cause you just have to watch it yourself.

I was reading 1 of the chapters of u'r an avatar fan, & there's this guy who makes a confession to his college friend. I send Conor (1 of my friends who's also a staffer for Animenext) that link telling him how that little snippet reminded SOOO much of him since he had came down to MangaNEXT back in Oct (I'm going thru con w/d's.... sucks majour bootay!!!!).

He starts to laugh! Then tells he that's actually his gf's DA acct & that snippet WAS about him!!! I lost BIG TIME!!!! ROFLMAOOL!!!!! I could NOT stop laughing... He also wrote a story that's also posted up on DA & FF.net. I got to read it along w/the other Zutara fics I have saved on my PDA... X_X;;;

I'm taking rec jap classes this sem... I do really hope UCC offers a 3rd session. They'll have the exact same students that are in this current 2nd session! It's pretty cool so far! *^_^*

It's about the same but I'm now stuck on 2nd shift. Ever since we got this high speed printer, they felt there was no need for 3rd anymore. It took a bit to get used to being on 2nd but now it's not overly bad as I thought it was going to be.

I'm taking rec jap classes this sem...

Lucky you. I would still like to take some classes but now with me on 2nd, it would be so hard for me to make that choice now unless I look for a different job.

Yeah, it always feels weird not having the posse around when it comes to the con thing. Though I am looking into going to Otakon next yr. Plus with the con being on the weekend of my bday, I want to have a party of sorts since I'll be hitting that big 30. Might as well make the best of it while I'm around friends.
