Is there anyone on my flist watching Dexter (on Showtime Sunday nights)? It aired when I was home on vacation and my older sis wanted to give it a try but I couldn't stay awake at the time to watch it. A few weeks ago I decided to set the DVR to record the eps and now I'm hooked. Quite an interesting series. I know the djs on the radio when they were doing their weekly discussion about what shows they were watching, the one said about it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't use the guy playing Dexter. (I believe they said he was the gay brother on 6 Feet Under?) Since I never watched 6FT. I wouldn't even know who would play a better role for Dexter so to me, who they have playing the role is fine with me. Plus Sergeant Doakes cracks my shit up. Anyways, in regards to this ice truck killer, I already started to figure out who it was two weeks ago. Now to see how this is going to play out.

Had our Thanksgiving early last Sat since my nephew, his gf, and the rugrats are moving to NC the beginning of Dec. So we had all of Bubba's family over to the house and the food was great it truly hurt my gut to breathe. Though the highlight of the evening was the incident with a poopy diaper that my poor nephew had to change. Let's just say it almost turned into a chain-reaction puke fest. Yet it was sooo fucking hilarious!! Still not sure what we are doing on Thurs and it would suit me just fine if we stayed home.

This morning, we had a cat & mouse game going on. I heard the cat making some noise in the hallway and I thought it was his play mice that are scattered all over the floor. He was batting it around and it wasn't until I did a double take that the "toy" was moving. Son of a bitch, we had a tiny mouse in the house. It was just too funny watching the cat play with it, though I wished he would've killed it right away instead of doing NOTHING. There were times when he had it in his mouth but he didn't bite down on it. He eventually lost it which pissed me off cause bubba wanted me to catch it and "dispose" of it. Don't know how the bugger got in the house unless it found a way in the laundry room/kitty room. I know Sam has been keeping guard now in the kitty room, kitchen (which is right next to kitty room), and in our bedroom. It was also funny to see him act like a hound dog for the way he was sniffing the carpet and the air to see if he could track that damn mouse.

Had lunch with [livejournal.com profile] guardianhunter yesterday at IHOP and I noticed that the booth seat was bouncy, so I started bouncing. Conversation went as such:

Me: *bouncebounce* Hey Anna, what's this remind you of?

Anna: OMG! Don't say it.

Hint to those that were there during that time: AnimeFest '01. Ahhhh....good times, good times.

In the squee dept:

The thought of completing my het challenge assignment makes me giddy, I'm close to where I can taste it but it teases me so!

I got my beautiful RenjixRukia doujinshi FINALLY in the mail the other day, Honey Canon's new one "Slowmatch". The story seems emo on Rukia's side and the art on the front and back cover makes my heart flutter so much for this pairing. The ending was too god damn cute. I'll have to make a post w/all my cover scans pretty soon, next week maybe.

OH!!! If anyone happens to see a Best Buy commercial with a couple and the dude has this box for the chick and she gets excited and pushes the stuff off the table. LOOK AT THE GUY!! IT'S KIRBY MORROW!!!!!!! I still giggle everytime I think about that commercial.

Giddy over the upcoming weekend as I have something special going on. Will make an entry on that Friday. *bouncebounce*

In the suckage dept:

IE7 finally installed with my recent windows update this morning. It annoys the shit out of me, especially for as long as I was used to the original layout/toolbar. I'm sure eventually I'll grow to it but for now, me hates it!

And thar be my entry to prove I'm still here.

IT'S KIRBY MORROW!!!!!!!

Wait...what? I saw that commercial but didn't realize it was him. Waaah! Now I'm going to have to compulsively watch t.v. until I see it again.

Yeah, it takes a bit to really grasp the faces of ppl in commercials since I noticed this BB one went pretty quick. I felt so geeky when I saw the commercial for the first time when we were watching last week's House. A quick glance to the dude and I was freaking out loud to where hubby was "what's your problem?" I had to go back and watch the commercial a few times just so I could laugh, it was so weird to see a voice actor in a US tv commercial. Kirby is such a dork in it but still hot none the less. I love the expression on his face when the chick cleared off the table cause he thought "whoa! she's going to take me on the table here and now?" But only to his disappointment, she was only interested in the gift.

Oh REALLY???

And you said I was bad cause we had to go look at it again!!!!

*LOL*

LOVE that commercial!! He's SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

Michael C. Hall. Yes, he played David Fisher on Six Feet Under. David was my favorite character on that show and I adore MCH. I want to watch Dexter but I just haven't had the time to torrent any of the episodes.

I can't believe there are 2 more eps left. I hope there will be more to it since it seems this "season" was focused on this icetruck killer.

IE7 is annoying and I hardly ever use it (I'm a firefox person). It's a nuisance, but if you have questions I probably can answer them.

I'll have to pay attention to that Best Buy commercial.

In some ways, I feel that it slows my computer down a bit. Do you know where I might be able to dl IE6 again? I went to MS's site and unless I'm not looking in the right place, I can't find a dl for it.

Isn't firefox almost the same setup as IE7 or is it alot different? And is this tab option worth using?

Dexter (on Showtime)

Darn. I was thinking Dexter's laborotory and all the goofiness until I saw those other words >_

From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

*laughs* I had a feeling someone would think that. In fact, I've been wanting to do a post about the Dexter show and was going to put a note on there that it wasn't Dex. Lab.

i've seen that commercial half a dozen times, never noticed it was kirby.

and if you hate IE7 so much, then uninstall it and put IE6 back on. it's not that hard to do, you must still be able to find the download somewhere.

Well as much as I would love to uninstall IE7, I can't find a download for IE6. Not even on MS's site unless I'm looking in the wrong areas.

A window's update is waiting to be installed on my laptop but I've been avoiding it cause I can't remember if it automatically installs IE7 or if you have the option of wanting it with the update.

THAT'S KIRBY MORROW! *head explodes* Does he talk?! I actually think I saw this commercial awhile ago because I remember the chick pushing the stuff off the table but waaaaah! Kirby Morrow!

Ya know, that commercial kind of reinforces the Trowa = sex god cliche. :P

From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

He talks a little bit but not full conversation. He just looks all goofy and cute.

*lol* I just didn't want to put that all in there, hence why I just made it short and sweet.

Yes, those were quite the times. *sniff*

I wouldn't mind going to Boston to see the sites or any of the states waaaaay up north though I think it would be pretty in the fall.
