This past weekend, bubba and I went with a group of Harley bikers to this hole-in-the-wall bar in Longview. Crap on a crap cracker! We did so many pit stops and the majority of it was for booze. I told bubba while we were waiting for everyone to get done shopping that I'm glad he's not an alcoholic. I believe bubba said that it took us 4 hrs to get to Longview but of course the majority of that was cause of the stops. So we all checked into our rooms then headed to the Harley store and waited for those that wanted to shop. Once that was done, we went in search of lunch. Since this one steak house didn't open till 2 and didn't serve booze till 5, they decided on this mexican restaurant called "The Jalapeno Tree." We all sat in the bar area so we didn't have to wait for the staff to get all the tables ready (thank god they weren't overly busy). The only booze I had was a large strawberry frozen margarita. I'd say that their food was okay but bubba and I got ROYALLY screwed with our order. EVERYONE was done eating and was soon ready to head out before we even got ours! So we told the waitress to just box it up. A handful of us went back to the motel and the other half stayed till they were ready to head over to "Mom's" (the bar). The main reason for this event was they were having some big crawfish and biker thing going on. Bubba told the one guy to let us know when they would be heading out to the bar so we could just hitch a ride with him since he brought his truck and a bike trailer. Reason for bubba wanting to go with him is that bubba didn't want to ride the bike once he drank. So they gave us a time on when they were going to leave. We ate some of our lunch in the room, watched tv while I took a nap and once the alarm went off, got ready to head to the bar. We walked to the other side of the motel and low and behold, the fuckers already left!!

I told bubba that it wouldn't bother me at all if we just went home. To be honest, I felt a bit out of place especially with ppl that you don't know and they didn't seem to want to know you (though I get that feeling with most Harley ppl who think that if you don't have a Harley, you aren't worth their time, at least with this group). Bubba thought we'd at least try it out and find the bar, which thank god wasn't too far from where we were staying. So we arrive at the bar and it's really a hole-in-the-wall. They had a band playing and all you can eat crawfish (and other food) for $10. What made me mad was that we wasted $20 for nothing. The lady could've at least asked us if we were going to eat or not cause if not, then we wouldn't had to have paid. We walked around in the small area outside and then since I didn't want beer, we had to go in the bar if we wanted other drinks. While waiting in line, bubba asked me what I felt about leaving. I said it didn't matter to me if that's what he wanted to do, so we left. Yeah, we lost money that weekend but at least it was an experience on what not to do the next time.

I think the only thing I enjoyed about Saturday was the ride home. Not much traffic, nice country scenery, and the evening sun wasn't scorching.

Of course Sunday was spent on yard work but we are making progress of cleaning alot of stuff up and planting more wild flower seeds. This was going to be a given that bubba ended up getting poison ivy, this time on his eye lid. He went to the dr's yesterday afternoon to get it taken care of. I swear I am so thankfully lucky that since living in Texas, I have not broken out in poison considering how I always got it back home in PA. Bubba is taking the brunt of it for me. *laughs*

Damn, not only is it hard to believe it's May already, but that also means I had to sign myself up for the motorcycle course. *GASPU!!!* Bubba kept bugging me about when I plan on taking it this yr and the month that I told him, has now snuck up on me. I signed up for the class next weekend, both Sat and Sun. and it's nearly an all day thing for both days. ^^;; I'm nervous as hell but I'm hoping it's not as hard as I'm making it out to be. I never rode a dirt bike or any motorcycle of sorts, just 4-wheelers and I drive a stick. So pending on how I like it, will determine if I will actually want to ride or just be a passenger. If I do want to ride, I'm getting bubba's bike while he get's a bigger one.

And yes, I have to post this again for every time these characters come into play on the recent eps of Bleach. Which isn't going to be many posts about it since her scene isn't very long.

So I give you the cut clip I made of Bleach #122 Mizuho tending to her future husband *laughs*. God I love this girl (and the way she freaks out over Ikkaku), too bad she didn't have more of a role but since Kubo has umpteen other characters he needs to focus on, maybe it'd be better if she didn't. This pairing is totally my 2nd OTP and one of these days, I want to write something about them.

4 more days till Bleach dub #32!! And if you don't know what that means, well then you don't know me very well.

First off, Beck thanks for that bittorrent link - but I still haven't gotten around to it - I'm so far behind in bleach it's ridiculous.

On the other hand, you're taking a bike course?! *envies* And Harleys and bikers! Sorry to hear aobut the crappy Saturday but your Sunday of garden cleaning sounds therapeudic. :)

OMG! Umm...what bt link did I give you? Me forget.

I'm anxious yet very nervous about riding a bike. The old men we ride with on Sundays tell me that if you can drive a stick, you can ride a bike. And I love driving stick since that's all we get now for our vehicles.

As much of a pain it can be cause it seems like the weeds just never stop coming back, but I guess doing that garden cleaning isn't all that bad. I get a sense of accomplishment once all the weeds are pulled and everything looks neat and tidy. I should've taken pics before I started and after so ppl can see just what kind of mess we/I had to deal with.
