Well tomorrow is the big weekend for me in regards to my motorcycle class. I really hope I get a hang of the whole clutch, throttle, and shifting dealy-o since last night I kept stalling while letting off the clutch on the new addition we just got. And it's a difference I think between driving a vehicle with a stick than a bike.
It's bad enough I don't have good coordination while playing drums so trying to focus on what all I have to do on a bike might just be as mind boggling. I can play the top part of the drums but trying to implement the bass into that is a tad hard for me. *lol*
Beneath the cut are some misc. pics of the ppl we ride with on Sunday's, a pic of my new hair holder, and our little addition.
Scott and Pancho. (missing from pic is Steve who was off to the side) Now the thing with Scott is that not long after I first met him, I told bubba he could pass for Santa Claus. I mentioned it to him again awhile back and he's like "Well, Scott's initials are SC." So hey! We have a RL Santa we ride with, it's what Santa does on his day's off. I mean we really haven't gone riding much in Dec and near or during the holidays. And the funny thing is, Scott doesn't like kids.

Here is what my new hair tie holder looks like. I now need to look into putting a bandanna on top of my head so it keeps my hair from flying everywhere once I take the helmet off. Also, the bike I'm standing next to is the one that I'll be driving if I decide to ride the bike or not.

Annnnnnnd......our newest addition. A mini-chopper that bubba did a trade in for with our golf cart he was looking to soon sell. Some guy on Craig's list out in Fort Worth had it up for sale and took bubba up on his offer for the trade. When I got home last night from work, I told bubba I wanted to try and drive it to the end of the drive-way since he already had it running. Since this bike is kinda small, it was a bit hard to control and felt funny trying to operate it. We first thought it was a Spiderman design but they said it was called Black Widow design.

Also, still got the Spring Cleaning Sale going on.

That bike you said you're planning to ride is big! My legs are too short for all but the smallest Sportster and even then I'd have to wear boots with heels so I never even attempted to drive.
Speaking of boots...those tennis shoes are spiffy but you need some motorcycle boots! ^_~ And I want to get me one of those hair thingys. I think they sell them at the flea market near my house--if not I guess I could pay whatever exorbitant price they want at the Harley dealership.

As for boots, I have them, it's just that I don't like wearing them when it's really warm out, especially in TX heat. I'll have to take a pic of my boots since I can't find them online anymore. I think I paid around $10 or so for my ponytail holder. I got that at a small no-big name bike shop. I'd search around in your area before having to resort to a Harley store.

I couldn't imagine myself riding a bike...my mind is mile a minute and I would just fall off. *laughs*

I'm totally the same way. I'm surprised I could handle it well on the course, it's being out on the real roads is what is going to be scary and see just how well my attention span really is.
