All in all, I guess turning 30 isn't so bad...just yet. Feels nice to have these few days off work. Today, Bubba took off work too and we went to Benihana's for lunch. It was our first time to go there and it was pretty good and the prices seem decent. I had sushi which was called a Denny's Roll (or log, can't recall), chicken fried rice, and a side order of Beef Sashimi. I'm soooooooooo full!!! The Denny's Roll had salmon, crab, and shrimp with a mayo sauce on it. That was pretty damn good but then again, I do love my mayo. Plus I had 2 Benihana Punches and I'm feeling slightly tipsy and I'm sleepy. Bubba should soon be heading out to A&M for his week long fire fighting school.

Thanx to all for the bday wishes and small gifts. I'll get to everything probably this weekend. *squees!*

Though I'm dreading checking my mailbox to see if I got anything from my family on my actual bday. How fucking sad is that??


I really wanted to do a small write up about HetCon with my pics but I probably won't do that till Monday cause I want to take a nap right now. :(

You must have a pretty huge stomach to eat all the food from Benihana's. I mean, I didn't get to eat my meat entree or the ice cream that was part of the package when I went to that restaurant. Of course, that was my only experience there so I should not sound like I know that restaurant (though I would liek to repeat it so that I'll get a better experience there).

For the most part, I only ate half of what I had. Hubby ate the other half of the sashimi and what was left over of my rice. Since my food arrived before everyone else's around the table (they had the hibachi type food), I took my time on eating my sushi but even with that I couldn't eat the last few pieces. I don't think mine or his came with ice cream and I told him not to bother about saying anything to them about my bday cause I couldn't eat another bite more or less dessert.

I find that what they were offering for their sushi on the amount of food you get was pretty reasonable in price. I wouldn't mind going there again either.

Danku and I hope so too.
