Yeah, I finally caved in and got one. I will probably post there with the same stuff I post here just to keep it active from time to time but I'll still be here on LJ till something just explodes and nothing they say or offer will ever bring me back.

I know there were some who posted their names awhile back but I'm not going to try and find these posts. So if you have an account there too, feel free to add me or just drop a comment here. I can never get to use the name Beck so I'm stuck with the same name I use here.

Damn, I'm really out of the loop. LJ is dropping journals again? I think the stuff I post in my journal is pretty tame--fan stuff included but you can never be too sure...

All of a sudden LJ dumped ponderosa121 and another artist that did HP fanart for "artistic merit" since LJ staffers are now judge and executioner on how good our art or fics are. They tried to deny it about them saying that but in their response to Pond when they gave her NO warning about them deleting her LJ, it was mentioned (as she had posted it on her GJ). LJ is way past the hell in a handbasket and I don't see it getting any better. It probably wouldn't have bothered me so much if Pond wasn't involved but since she was, it really irks the fuck out of me.

And I'm sure most of fandom right now is paranoid as fuck when it comes to posting smut art or fics and wonder if we will be next on LJ's shit list. (cause the whole issue had to do with smut art) I guess we have to really get technical in our warnings stating JUST HOW OLD the characters we are writing or drawing about are to the viewer. Cause ya know, not everyone knows that the majority of the shinigami in Bleach are over 100 yrs old.

Because of this blowout, I noticed that half of my flist is quiet and what little I participate in fandom isn't as busy as before.

It's quite the headache thats for sure.

BUT it's not going to stop me from writing my smut damn it!!
