Tonight's eps title "The Dark Defender" and to be nice, I'll put the summary beneath the cut. All I can say is that this eps BETTER NOT BE disappointing!!!
Dexter discovers that the man who killed his mother is alive.
HO SHIT NO WAY! I still need to start watching this season (thank you for the downloads - I even snagged the first audio book, just need to listen to it now) but OMG DAYUM!!!
What will darling Dexter do??? OMG!*flails* It's too late to start watching from the first eps to last week but OMG this week I'm SO ON IT!
Sadly Dexter didn't kill no one since the sponsor chick talked him out of it (though she thought he was going to shoot up drugs, not kill). I felt as if Dexter should've killed the guy who was left from the group that killed him mom BUT I'm thinking that Dexter is going to start putting alot of blame on Harry since Harry and his mom were working together in the sting. I couldn't quite make out what the guy was telling Dexter cause of his accent but it sounded like he said "she fucked him" or "she was fucking him". I don't know if he meant that his mom fucked that drug lord over OR she and harry were fucking around. And if that were the case, wouldn't that be some fucked up shit if Harry was really Dexter's true father? It would make sense as to why Harry reached for Dexter when he found them in that container and left Brian alone for someone else to get.
I was also scared that Dexter, in the time of desperation, that he was either going to kiss his sponsor or fuck her but then I don't see Dexter doing that considering #1. he wouldn't be able to face Rita and lie to her about #2. couldn't do it cause of the way he thinks about why humans do what they do.
Then the ending left me going "OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT!!!" I'm curious now if Dexter is shown on the surveillance camera in the marina where his boat is at. I'm hoping he isn't just cause of the way the camera was positioned.
The books and the series are sooooooooooooooo completely different as well as how the characters behave. I can't wait to do an entry about the difference of the two once I'm done listening to the 3rd new book. You'll be pretty shocked what Jeff has done to Doakes in the one you dl'ed from me. Kinda disappointing and a bit depressing.
