(spoiler about the books will be under the cut too)

Last night's Dexter had me going

Wow, I think I lost a bit of respect for Dexter. But then again, the feeling is brought on by that damn bitch of a sponsor. I didn't think Dexter would stoop that low but I had a feeling he was going to fuck her anyways. I mean come THE FUCK ON!!! He didn't even give the "break up" 24 hrs before he dove into the poon! I was hoping he'd choke the bitch. He had the chance to give himself and Rita time to smooth things out but since he's "Mr. Honest", he just dug the hole deeper. And the thing that he still doesn't get is that, the bitch thinks he's an drug addict, NOT A SERIAL KILLER! ARRRGH I wanted to smash his head into a wall.

I hope that they will get Rita and Dexter back together. As much as I felt that Jeff rushed their relationship in the books, I'd rather have that happen than what the tv show is giving us. And what I mean about the books, is that Rita found a ring that fell out of Dexter's pants pocket and thought he was going to propose to her. I didn't like how she jumped to conclusion but Dexter just went along with it cause he didn't have the heart to tell her that wasn't what the ring was for (it came from Deb's man who Dexter was going to give it to her if ole boy turned up dead).

It was about time that Dexter showed some anger toward Doakes when Doakes snooped in his office (which annoyed me too about Doakes). It almost made me glad of what happened to Doakes in the books yet not cause I do like his character (even if he is a prick). And I find it amusing that Laguerta and Doakes used to be an item.

I still say by the time all is said and done, we will find out on the tv show that Harry is really Dexter's bio. father.

I'm curious as to how they are going to explore the relationship of Deb and Lundy. I see it as a father/daughter situation but they might take it farther than that since in the books, Deb falls for this FBI guy which confuses me. He shows up in the 2nd book and it sounds like this was the first time everyone met him yet BAM! Deb and this guy are already in twu wuv. And there is no one in the book called Lundy either. In fact, the books are more focused on Dexter and his dark passenger as well as different killers.

EEEEEEEEEEEYAH!!!! I was a bit worried at first when I heard how they were making a movie from Stephen King's short story called "The Mist" (which appears in the Skeleton Crew book) but after seeing previews and knowing who is behind on directing it (Frank Darabont who did The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.), I think it will be a good movie. *crosses fingers*

Plus, it's got Thomas Jane in it, so yeah, you can't go wrong on that. Though if memory serves me right, it was only the husband who went to the store. He left the wife and kid at home but in the movie, he has his kid with him. (it's been awhile since I read the book but that's what I thought happened)

Here is the trailer I found for it. It comes out on the 21st of this month.

Now I have two movies I want to see: Saw 4 and The Mist.

I hope Lila turns out to be some evil person. Even though it would just be a repeat of last season's plotline, I hope so hard. I want Lila to get Butcherized.

OH GOD! I do too! Though her story seemed a bit shoddy when she was telling Dexter what happened. I think there's more to it meaning she did do something but not what she said she did.

I also felt like what she said on his answering machine was out of spite kinda like "I hope Rita hears what I'm saying."

I never liked Lila from the start, there was something about her from the get go that screams "she's no good."
