I went to the doc's yesterday morning to get my right ear looked at cause it was bothering me for the past two weeks and I didn't want to go to my ear doc just yet. I think this sinus infection that keeps coming and going since a month ago is what's been messing my ear up. Well of course the day before, the humming in my ear stopped later in the day but I already made my appt. So she gives me prescription for penicillin and something called rax....whatever, it's for congestion/sinus stuff. Well the paper wasn't lying when it said one of the side affects would be dry mouth. I never had cotton mouth this bad ever, no matter what I drink or eat, it's still there. But I'm not going to stop taking it unless it really starts to annoy me.

Damn this chick was so rough with my ear when it came to trying to look inside of it, hell, my ear doc isn't this rough. It's a good thing we don't have to go to the doc's all the time cause the last time I went two yrs ago, my co-pay was like $20. Now it's $25 and pres' are $12 (which used to be around 10 or so). My ear doc was $30 and now its $37 and it sucks we have to pay more just cause their "special". I'm curious to see how much bubba's insurance goes up again next yr. cause you know it will.

When I first saw the movie poster for it back in Sept, I just rolled my eyes and wonder just how much they can fuck up this rendition. But after seeing some previews, I'm HOPING that Alvin and the Chipmunks isn't a stinker. I was glad to see Jason Lee play Dave. The one part of the preview I like and can't help but giggle at is when Theodore asks Dave if he can sleep with him and Dave was like "yeah, but you have to sleep on this side." (which he points where at) The next clip has Dave sleeping on his back and Theo is stretched out, sleeping across Dave's face/forehead.

Sorry to everyone who I owe emails or beta work to. My time has been kinda cut short with trying to get the RenRuki exchanges sent out, getting my goods packed for those that bought from me, try and get some baking done this weekend, x-mas cards gathered up, and doing what we can around the house before the end of Dec. I'll make the news next week. But I WILL get back with everyone this weekend. I can't even really catch up on what anime I need to watch cause of trying to find time, I can't even do it at work since I'm either riding my bike and can't take the laptop or if I do have the laptop with me, I get swamped with print work.

MY CALL FOR HELP!!

Does anyone on my flist know where I can get those small boxes that you see stores that sell candy or sweets and they put fudge in those boxes? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated and ASAP too.

Have you tried Target or Walmart? I've seen them @Target...

Is this what you're looking for? They also have a small one too... Not sure if Walmart has it in-store. So you may need to check...

Hope this helps! ^_^y

Not so much of tins or containers, those I have on hand but more like these: http://usbox.com/candy/gold___silver_candy_boxes.html

I wonder if places like Hobby Lobby or candy stores might have them, if not, I might have to order them online.

Eureka!!!

I was @Walgreens today buying candles for the office. I came across of those boxes you were looking for. They're in tin format, but REALLY cheap. There were different sizes as well... I'm not sure if there's a Walgreens near you, but thought I'd give you a heads up!

Hope this helps! *^_^y*

Hm, the closest thing I can think of would be a Hallmark or some other card store. There's a slim chance that they have paper boxes like those. *shrugs*

I actually found two sets of boxes I like online since I have a feeling I'd have a better chance doing it that way than trying to find a store near by:

Those look really nice, and the second one is adorable!

Hm... you don't have GFS down there do you? I don't recall seeing anything like that at the Hobby Lobby we have here. I'd say your best bet is an online store, or if you have a food supply/kitchen store that's local.

you could try and see if your local post office has boxes...but they may charge you an arm & a leg for em..you never know. If nothing else, you could always try looking at perhaps a warehouse store of some kind or even a local bookstore. ^^;;; that's where I get my boxes when I need to wrap gifts & stuff
