Long 4 day weekend

I took last Thurs and Fri off work since toriru4ever was going to be in the area. Plus I had a dental appt. early Thurs morning which I'm glad, that after what I went through there, I did take off work.

So to start if off, I had to have a small piece of my cap on my left front tooth fixed and a small filling on one of my bottom teeth. Ever since I've had work done to my mouth, they NEVER EVEREVEREVER gave me laughing gas. As they were getting their tools together, she was like "we're going to give you nitrous oxide." I was never gassed before so it started to kind freak me out on how it was making me feel. I just don't get it. The whole numbing stuff they give me all the time works just fine, like it always has!!! And I never get anxious or nervous when having work done so I don't know why they gave me the gas. I could see it if maybe they had to somehow take my old cap off my tooth but not when they are just going to put something small on it.

Once I got home, I had to go lay down for a bit cause that gas made me feel like shit. But at least when I woke up, the bottom of my mouth wasn't numb though the top was still slightly numb. Next time I have to get work done and they mention the gas, I'm going to have to tell them NO NO NO NOOOOO!!!

Fri night Mona and I headed over to blkros's place but not till we dropped her rental car off. Boy if that wasn't a fucked up night too for the both of us. While waiting to see where Mona was, I was in the Jack in the Crack parking lot. I saw this guy walk past Jack but I don't think he came from inside. Anyways, while I was on the phone with Mona, he's making hand gestures to me which looked like he was asking if I had a cigarette (which I don't smoke). So just as I was about to pull out of the lot to go meet her, he had the nerve to ask if I could give him a ride and he's pointing down the road. I was like "NO!" and sped off. It was so fucked up cause the area I was in was very lit and by a busy highway. And if he wanted to be pissed off about it, then he should thank all the psycho's out there for making it bad for him to get a ride. Go get a fucking cab! It's not like they aren't plentiful in the area.

Then Mona had an issue at the Shell station of someone trying to approach her while she was getting gas. It's pretty fucking pathetic when you can't even do anything at night regardless if you are getting gas or hanging around somewhere without being worried if some fucking freak is going to jack you or worse yet, kill you.

Later we show up at Jen's and gabbed a bit before watching "Super Bad". I heard quite a few things about it but I just wasn't impressed with it.

Sat. we spent the majority of the day gabbing away like usual *lol* till we got ready to go out for dinner. Our dinner was paid for by the one client that Mona had her interview with so of course we just had to take him up on his offer in a very generous way. We went to the one sushi place down from Jen's place and between Mona and I, got 4 orders of Happy Salmon which made me a very happy camper!! And of course other orders that we had. First time I also tried a martini, a Mighty Martini which had orange and pineapple juices in it along with the alcohol and Mona tried the Bellini Martini which involved peach flavorings. Both were pretty strong and for some reason the Bellini tasted better once it sat for a bit.

Then of course comes the awesome dessert part. Jen took us to The Grand Lux Cafe which was created by the ppl who made the Cheesecake Factory. We ordered the Molten Chocolate Cake and the New Orleans Beignets. The cake was good but a bit chocolaty but still good. The Beignets were the SHIZNITS!! Especially when dipped in the choco sauce they had on the plate, in fact they give you 3 sauces but I didn't try the other two.

So again, a huge THANK YOU to Mr. Chatty-pants for paying for our awesome meals. It's not often you have someone do this.

And then with all the talk about Japan had me jonsing for 2009 to get it's ass here already!!

And of course I get another short week this week since I took this coming Fri off for a bday party. Plus it gives me a 3 day weekend since our work finally approved to have MLK day off.

Yeah Mr. chatty-pants was quite generous and so where the other folks I interview with. I didn't have to pay for the extra day I kept the rental car ^3^
