Since today is Hidaka Toru's 40th bday (well here in the US anyways since it's already done in Japan), I was checking out the pics this morning on the official blog. I wish I had that kind of reception when I turned 30 last yr. *lol*

But I think it's pretty neat on what they did. I'm sure part of it is to promote the new album as well.

Also uploaded Beat Crusaders new vid "Time Flies, Everything Goes". Pretty amusing vid though near the end, there is a glitch in the clip. Don't know if it was aired that way or what cause I don't know where I could find another copy of it.

I got some bad sunburn on the top part of my back last weekend, don't know why dummy me didn't put any sunscreen on that area and now I'm really paying for it. I'm peeling so bad, after looking at it in the mirror, I wish I had someone near me to peel all that junk off. Plus it still has a bit of a burn to it just for the way it still feels warm.

Ugh, sunburn! D: I always keep a bottle of aloe vera gel in the fridge, for just that purpose--I have that super-pale northern European skin tone that goes from "blinding white" to "tomato" in about five minutes' worth of sun exposure. Do you have anything like that around? That might help tone down the heat, or at least make it feel a little better.

I always had a hard time keeping my hands off, when I got a sunburn that started peeling. ^^;;; I hope yours starts to fade soon!

Well normally I don't burn so bad but since it was an area that hasn't seen much sun in over a yr didn't help matters.

I totally keep aloe gel handy whether it be in the fridge or in the cabinet. But what really sucks is that where it's located and I don't have anyone around the house right now, I have to take a ruler and spread it on my back once I squeeze some on. A bit hard but at least it gets it on the skin.

I hear ya on the urge to peel skin once it starts peeling regarding if it's on me or someone else.

Another problem I have that did NOT help matters is that I get a heat rash in that area of my back from time to time. And because of being burnt in that area I think activated that rash to show up and caused the burn problem to be more of a hassle than what it should be.

I know what you mean about putting lotion and such on your back! At one point in time, I was contemplating getting a "wings" tattoo on my back/shoulders, but decided against it because I didn't know how on earth I'd care for it without having someone to help me.

I wonder if something like hydrocortisone or calamine lotion would help, with the heat rash? I don't know if those things are good for sunburns, but they might be.

Last year, I got a sunburn on my scalp, down the part in my hair. That was fun. XD And yet, knowing what I know about how badly I burn, I don't own any sunblock. How dumb does that make me? ^^;;

Plus I also forgot to mention that when I put aloe on certain areas that I guess that are still tender, it actually fucking hurts. Kinda between a stinging and tickling feeling that is not very pleasant. Most of the time I just try to bear the pain but other times I'm ready to wipe it down with a cool cloth just to make that sensation go away.

Hmmmm...How bad is the sunburn? Is it just a first-degree, or did it blister? If it blistered, that might be why it stings. I got a 2nd-degree (blistered) sunburn once, and no matter what I put on it, it hurt, and I was using the Clinique moisturizing lotion--you can't get much more gentle than that!

My mom once put butter on a sunburn. Ohhhh dearrrr lord...never, ever do this! *shudders*

I didn't think it was that bad till like the day after cause it was still pretty red. It wasn't until Tues that it started to get bumpy in the middle where my rash usually starts. And when I felt that, I was like OH NO! This is not going to turn out good. It's hard to say what kind of burn it turned out to be just cause the rash made it worse. And I think the reason why it stings is that the areas that might be where the rash is, might interfere with the stuff I'm putting on for the burn. So it might be a little blistered between the sunburn and the rash. But now, I'm also starting to itch and I really can't scratch it or I'd make it hurt more.

I heard that putting butter on was the worse thing to do. In fact, I heard alot more stories about using apple cider vinegar on the burn. I guess it's supposed to take the sting out and cool it down. I was going to do that the other day but with the way it bothered me when I put aloe on, I can imagine the stinging the vinegar would've caused me.

I think I learned my lesson the hard way even though I did have sunscreen with me, I just still don't know why I didn't put anything on that area.

Hey there :) At Fanime, I was in Artist Alley and one of the fanartists had created a BEAUTIFUL Renji/Rukia sketch. So much so that I had her draw me a Shikamaru/Temari sketch afterwards (my pairing of choice). I thought of you and had to share ^_^ hehe.
