I finally got around to uploading the Beat Crusaders popdod dvd. Keep in mind the quality of the clips are average after they were converted to avis from the actual dvd. If you want better quality, buy the dvd.
Beat Crusaders Live @ the Boyz of Summer '07

I think out of all the live clips that they had included on their dvds, this is probably the best one yet!
Some will be happy to know that they decided to just blur their eyes. So you can actually see their faces with no digital masks or no squiggly lines like they had for the live stuff on the Ghost dvd.
There's some comical moments too. One being Kubota using his own camera to record the show so you see some views from his camera including upclose shots of some of the members. Later on the lead singer of ASPARAGUS, Shinobu Watanabe, must've had a bug on his shoulder and after Hidaka pointed that out to him, Shinobu started messing with it when later Katou walked over and opened his mouth as if he was going to eat the bug. And of course whatever words they are chanting are bleeped out again. I'm pretty sure by now they are saying the Japanese word for pussy (manko not sure if I'm spelling that right). I think they even try to blur the audience when they chant the words so you can't read their lips.

I swear this is one band that seems to have so much fun performing. Even more so when the lead singer of ASPARAGUS came out to perform Fairy Tale and after that, the members of Your Song Is Good all came out to do Fool Groove. When Shinobu came out on stage, Hidaka broke into an Asparagus song "Falling Down" which was way awesome (great song too!). And then by the time they do E.C.D.T., I'd say half the other bands that were performing that day all came out on stage to participate in the song. But the ending when they were all goofing around and later playing was just perfect. The band line up last year was as such:

The thing I liked while watching the dvd was how the clouds looked, I guess it rained earlier that day from the pics I seen last yr of the show. I just don't see how Katou does it with all that head banging. I can't even headbang for 2 mins before my head starts hurting. What also cracks me up is if you watch closely when they show the crowd near the front, there is a chick who keeps making a face as if she's smelled something bad. *lol* The crowd went fucking nuts during Isolations and Imagine? but it's cool to see the crowd react like that instead of just standing there and doing nothing like how some ppl do at some concerts. I like the angles and views that the cameras were setup to record.
