I have one of those. It doesn't hold a charge for very long and isn't the easiest thing to steer, but the sheer entertainment value of freaking the cats out with it is priceless. It's like every time they see it they have to remember all over again that it isn't going to get them. It's also so light that it will travel quite a ways when they slap it.
Figures that it wouldn't hold much of a charge. Is it hard to steer when it goes fast or just hard to steer in general? I can imagine the entertainment value on fucking with the cats with something like that.
