Ooh, I'm glad RK's coming the the US! I wonder if they'll get a guy to do Kenshin's voice, or a woman? It being America, they'll probably get a man, eh? Sucks that they'll have to edit it so much. (What are we so afraid of in America? Kids should learn that violence is messy. Maybe they shouldn't learn that from cartoons, though.) Yeesh, they'll have to edit poor Sano's every line. :) What will they do about Yumi, and her kimono falling halfway down her torso?

Sucks that I'm going to be in Japan when it airs. Oh, well. We haven't got cable at home anyway.

Oh you haven't seen the dub yet? Kenshin's english dub is pretty good and it is a man doing the voice. And I LOVE Sano's voice too, that guy is very talented cause he sings the ending theme song too.

*groans* I can imagine all the editing they'll be doing besides the blood, swearing, and the slight nudity. What has this world come to? I mean yeah its cool that they are bringing it to tv but not on that time slot. In fact they are soon moving YYH to Toonami and taking it off of Adult Swim block, I don't know why they couldn't replace their slot with Kenshin. Also there is talks of them bringing Eva on too to CN.

Censorship pisses me off. Well...okay, there'd be no (or less) need for it if parents were willing to take responsibility for their kids. But look at this: is anime censored in Japan? Nope. Are there many instances of school violence here? Nope. (It exists, of course, but it's not anything approaching America's problem.) But then, it's a different culture. For all their politeness and formality, in many instances the Japanese a LOT more open-minded and liberal than Americans. *pouts*

No, I haven't seen the dub--only the sub. I'm not picky--that's just what I wound up with. I love Sano. *snuggles Sano-plushie* I need to have someone tape the eps for me.
