Full Metal Panic news update, misc stuff, quizzes and food

Well right now, the news is FINALLY out as to who ADV had used for the dub voices of FMP. And by my Sousuke icon pic, I too would have a worried look on my face ^_~. They are as follows as to what they have info on:

SOUSUKE SAGARA - Chris Patton
KURZ WEBER - Vic Mignogna
KYOUKO TOKIWA - Monica Rial
TELETHA TESTAROSSA - Hilary Haag

They said that Chidori was the hardest to cast so there was no word yet as to who will be playing her. And as always, I'm not very familiar with ADV's VA's so I don't know how Chris will sound doing Sousuke but from what I've seen of Vic at the anime cons, I think his personality will fit Kurz for sure. I never heard Monica do any impressions of the ppl she voices for so I don't know how Kyouko will sound (Chidori's friend).

I managed to get a good bit packed in my room Sun and part of Mon. Again while doing this painstaking task (but it needs to be done!) I realized just how many books I have. Half of them are Stephen King, romance books that I know will never be read, sex books (visual as well as reg. kink romance sex novels/short stories), Native American books, bio books on music bands, the list can go on. Once we find a house that we agree on and are settled, I definetly want a bookshelf built (that is if a house we pick already has one).

Bubba told me about this popcorn he tried at work one night and finally bought a box of it. I decided to try it out tonight and I must say, this shit is pretty damn good. Its called Kettle Corn and the two brands that have it out are Popsecret and Act (whatever they call it). Course its microwave popcorn and has a semi...uh...sweet taste to it (I guess thats the way to describe it) and its not overly buttery either. I recommend peeps to give it a try.

*sigh* I just remembered I also have a dental appt Fri morning which they are putting a crown on my far back right upper tooth. I wonder how long that will take?

All I can say is the best series with the English tracks would be Generator Gawl...they did a half descent job. The other's I think we either dl'ed it or bought the dvds. Gawl we had VCR tapes to and the dubs are cheaper. (but now the perfect collection came out and grabbed it up like a hot cake)

Don't know if that gives any ideas- but sticking with the Japanese tracks ain't to bad.
The ADV preview wasn't what it was cracked up to be. Yeah it is a mech drama, but also a comedy in between- and thus gives reason for Chidori to crack Sousuke with any type of blunt object. (which reminds me of Generator Gawl agains...)

Damn, still haven't seen any of the anime that those VA's did except for one. I didn't know that Hilary did Kino's voice on Blue Sub 6. In a way, I can see her doing Tessa's voice but only if she keeps a mousy tone to her voice and not the tone she did for Kino.
