Woo! This weekend was a kicker. Sat we had alot going for us that bubba and I went to bed after 7pm o__O. Felt weird to mess up my sleeping pattern like that but at least by Sun morning, I was up before 6am and went back to work on getting my room done. So far the closet is empty (save for a few pic boxes and kitty carrier)
Sunday bubba and his bro in law worked on the house again since it was nice out while I tried a bit more on getting misc crap that I still have left to pack in my room (did I mention earlier how I hate packing? *shrugs* But if I want to move bad enough, it shall be done!) Then bubba's sister and kids came over and took a break to go out for lunch. Cause of bubba wanting to get a good bit done outside of the house, we skipped out on doing the anniversary dinner before the hockey game. He got so caught up working outside that we didn't leave the house till 4pm to get to the game (which it takes us an hr and a half to get to Dallas) and then try to find a parking space. This was our first time to check out the new American Airline Center and I was pretty impressed with it. We didn't realize how far up our seats were but now that we know what the setup is like, we know what to expect next time we go to any event in that place.
Ohhhhhhhhhh the hockey game was GRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!! It was the Dallas Stars vs. St. Louis Blues. I think this was probably the best hockey game we went to compared to the ones in the past. Reason being was that this game was fights, fights, fights everytime you blinked. Near the end of the game there were 4 seperate fights going on and it was just AWSOME!!!! On the ice there were piles of gloves, sticks, and helmets *snickers* Didn't see any blood though *pouts*
I almost forgot, the Stars won 3-1 ^__^
WEEEEEEE!! After the game we stopped at the sport shop before it closed and I finally found my winter jacket for this yr!! *bouncebouncebounce* Its a pretty Dallas Stars jacket and its just the right amount of weight to it to keep me warm since Texas winters aren't overly freezing. I can't wait to get it, that means I have to give my Washington Redskins winter coat a proper burial/retirement. I'm NOT throwing it away even though it is starting to fall apart, I'll just wear it around the house for everyday use when it comes to getting myself dirty.
Monday was a REALLY nice warm spring day. Tis a shame for the most part of the morning I was stuck working in my room but later I went to the movies to finally see Dreamcatcher (I'll do my review on it later today or tonight)
Before I forget,
wardove I got your anime package in the mail yesterday of the other eps of Gundam Seed and Naruto.
Also if anyone on my friends list or even lurkers on my lj, if anyone else has seen the raw eps of Weiss Kreuz Gluhen,
wardove is looking for a few ppl to discuss situations that went on or perhaps what might be going on (since those parts aren't subbed yet). Feel free to stop by her livejournal and discuss ^_~ But from what Dove told me yesterday morning, I wanted to fucking freak!

*sniffles* They used to be the North Stars, before the team was transferred to Dallas! *sobs* WAAUUGHHH!!!!
But that's okay! Because now, we have the Wild! And they are in the playoffs!! Woohoo!! *grins*
And you know, it's not a really good hockey game unless there are at least three or four fights. Sounds like you got your money's worth! ^_^

Its weird though when going to a game, it seems like it takes less time for the game to be over than what it does when watching it on tv. Yeah I find it boring if there isn't many fights during a game, it doesn't make it as exciting as it should be, hell its what hockey is about ^_~ One of these days, we'll scrape up enough cash and get seats down by the glass, I'd like to see how that is, my middle sis was able to do that once and said how neat it was.
