Sitting at work hoping I might leave earlier than 11. Yesterday surely messed me up with sleeping but as long as this doesn't happen all the time I should be alright. Got sleepy around 4pm yesterday, went to bed and woke up around midnight. Fiddled around on the compy and then went back to bed hoping to sleep some more till the alarm went off at 4am. Didn't do so much for me cause the cat started to bug me so I got up before the alarm went off, got my shower, and messed with the compy again while listening to an owl hoot outside. It was so neat to hear since it sounded like he was right next to the house where the trees are at. Bubba took a pic of one perching on the fence awhile back at night, it was cuuuuuuuuute!!!
Was watching some music vids this morning before I left and they showed a Billy Squier vid. I sat there and laughed. He was trying to dance, keyword is TRYING. He had no rhythm what so ever and talk about cheesy!
*sigh* I just realized again how much I HATE traffic. Its not so bad in the early morning or at night when I'm going to work, its just that later in the afternoon coming home is a bitch! All day yesterday from Dallas to home, ppl were acting like fucking sunday drivers, taking their sweet ass time sight seeing. Sure it was a beautiful warm day out but christ, move it or loose it and sight see on your own damn free time!!!
Bubba called me telling me to get money out and meet him at the church down the road (since the fire dept ppl had to show up just to be on hand) since they were having a fund raiser with ppl selling all sorts of crafts and stuff. He took me over to this one booth that had porcelain dolls and nicknacks. But what was on the table with the dolls is what made him know I would like. They had a bunch of Native American dolls of different sizes. There was a cute doll in a fur hammock but if only the face had a better expression, I would've gotten that one. Then they had two taller dolls, one had a wolf hide/head piece with a bow and arrow set, and the other doll had a little buffalo head piece with a decorated spear. Both were cute, I would've picked the one with the wolf piece but the face looked too old for its features while the other dolls were younger. So I picked out the buffalo doll instead. Not a bad price for it being porcelain and since its dressed as an indian (these things aren't cheap when it comes to Indian artifacts, pending where you go). I'm so happy with it, I'm glad bubba looked at the table before I got there, me love you bubba!! Now I just have to have a cabinet made or look into buying one once we move and get settled into a new house, I want something to put all my Indian stuff in for a change instead of sitting out and getting dusty.
Also played around with the laptop yesterday, messed around on the web and also downloaded divx so I can watch my anime on that too. Tested it out watching Naruto in the living room for a change instead of having to sit in my compy room watching it on the other comp. Going to have to get bubba check it out and show me how to hook the laptop to the tv and watch it on the tube.
Finally found certain Naruto dj covers that I was looking for, disappointed me in the one cover I liked when I found out it was a yaoi dj with KakashixIruka *blah! >.<;;
Can't wait to get my Hellsing djs in the mail soon, especially to see how good this AlucardxIntegral hentai one I got is worth it.
Music wise, I hear that Def Leppard is touring again *ugh!* I saw them once during the Adrenalize tour at Heshey Park Arena with my mom and my sister. They were good and I LOVED how they did the "in the round" stage set, I wished all bands could do that cause you can see all the members and I think the sound was really good. I just think that the band went down hill, kinda sold themselves out later and they don't get airplay anymore with any of their new stuff which I'm surprised. Considering how much they use to get played alot and now a days if they do, its always their older stuff.
Another shocking thing I just heard on the radio, this station is having a little rock show/convention and I just heard they are getting the guys from Zebra O____O. Plus Alice Cooper is the main guest for autographs and such.
Gotta sort through the pile of doujinshi's I made to sell off once I get home and make an update on what I got and how much.
Need to discuss some things regarding props for my costume with hubby and see about ordering the contacts.
Is it soon Akon yet?? I'm actually getting pretty anxious for it, not only to see my buds again but finally get to meet another friend I've been dying to meet who is sharing my room.

Yeah I can't wait to see you too. I'm hoping that your belly is feeling better.
I'm actually going to call the hotel and confirm my room again cause since I reserved the room back in Dec, I'd rather be safe than sorry to make sure they still have it listed. Then I'm going to get a full price too, tax and all and then contact all of yous as to how much we owe. Plus I'm going to post in my lj and some mailing lists I'm on about recruiting at least 2 more ppl just in case, I'd like to keep the room price as low as we can without having the room crowded.
I'll keep you posted probably sometime tomorrow.

The only thing is that I have to get that plane ticket to Cally for the ball soon. I'm going to do Priceline.com and see if I can't get it for 150. I really need a good paying job soon.
I wish Ali hasn't backed out on us. He's really bummed about it too and I think he's still going to try and hit his mom up for a 100 bucks for the thing. But... it doesn't look good.
