So I was checking things out last night online as to what kind of plant we could get my mom for mom's day. My mom is so hard to buy for when the woman claims she doesn't want anything, even aside from that, she's just a hard person to buy for period. Instead of looking into sending her flowers which die, we usually look into getting her a plant since they live longer. We are trying to look in the $30 range and there really isn't thing cheaper than $39 THEN on some orders they charge $11 for charge feee -___-. Not sure where else to look at and I was checking out FTD, they didn't really have squat for plants. They have a few cute bamboo shoots that grow in this little bowl but I know mom wouldn't want to keep up on taking care and triming it. I wish mom was a candle person cause they had some nice candle sets for a nice price but alas, she's not. I think next time I'll get her a gift certificate to somewhere, I know she don't mind those, hell who wouldn't? They are the best gifts when you run out of ideas.

WOWZERS! A friend of mine, another artist from Italy, Darkwing, just posted her colored Duo pic looking mighty sexy in his open Preventer jacket with just a bit of nipplage showing. Her Duo is near lifelike and I don't know why but for some reason, I could pic Scott McNeil in that pic, has to be something in the face that makes it look that way to me.

I'm sure if Scott were to see the actual work itself, he would have a shit fit. Darkwing's medium for the pic are colored pencils, tempera and watercolors. Plus this is her first time working with them.

Time to get a semi decent nap and hopefully when I wake up later today, wardove might have some more downloads for me. I'm hoping that she got a better file of E's #6 since the files were corrupted from where she got them. I want some more Scrapped Princess as well damn it!!

As for Mom... Hmm. Mine is into jewelry and scarves and such. You know...heh...I honestly can't remember what I got her last year. This year I got her a sarong (from Thailand) and a mix CD that I made. I think she'll like them. I tend to stay away from flowers. They're way expensive. So are Vermont Teddy Bears.

What about a pretty coffee mug? Or a CD she's been wanting? Or a video or something? A book?

It was only posted on a ML I'm on so its rare if many got to see this, as you can see why I love hording it all to myself *MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!* So I'm letting you take a sneak peek at my lucious Trowa. This is by far the best that she's done with her art and this is only like a 2nd time she ever drew Trowa since she mostly draws Heero or 1xR situations. This is by Stefy, another italian artist. If this is a real person, I wish I knew where he was. This has inspired me to come up with more fic ideas for 3x11. So if you think Duo was lickable...er lookable, then lets what Trowa can do. Enjoy but try not to faint ^_~

Yeah, I'm sure the mug would've came in handy but I wouldn't know where to look or what kind to get her. Hmm... cds, not sure if mom listens to much music anymore or if she does, its when she's on the way to work and she hasn't told me if she liked anything new or old in a long time. She ends up buying dvds or movies for herself so thats taken care of and as for books.... *snickers* she works at a book distro place so she's around books all the time (its how my Stephen King and HP books have been accumilating as of late ^_~) plus mom isn't one to really read since now she has to put on reading glasses. Mom is a pretty simple woman who doesn't want much of anything cause eventually she wonders why she either bought it or has it for and ends up giving it to one of us kids. Thats why I'm thinking for sure next yr, she's getting a gift certificate.

I've never seen Trowa drawn like that--but I approve! Stefy does hands very well--they're a feature that always gives me trouble so I'm rather awed. Wow, Trowa as an Irish punkster. I approve, I approve. ^_______^
