I've been spreading this everywhere else, might as well do it here too.

Dark Horse announced at Book Expo America this weekend that it has acquired the rights to three new manga series and a comic series based on the work of Michael Chabon. All of the manga will be released in right-to-left 5" x 7" trade paperback format.
The Ring, starting in November, is based on the horror novels by Koji Suzuki. It will feature story by Hiroshi Takahashi and art by Misao Inagaki. The property has previously reached America in a Western adaptation of the film and the dubbed Japanese version. 304 pages at $14.95
Trigun is part of the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network, and the manga will find a ready audience when the series starts in November. Story and art are by Yasuhiro Nightow. 360 pages at $14.95.
Hellsing has story and art by Kouta Hirano and will kick off in December at $13.95 for 208 pages. The anime has been released in the U.S. by Pioneer.
In early 2004, Dark Horse will release Michael Chabon presents the Amazing Adventures of the Escapist, featuring characters created by Chabon in The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay. The stories will be set in the style of various comic book eras from the 1940s to today. Chabon will contribute to writing original stories and guide the direction of the series. *****
WEEEEEEE! I so can't wait till this takes in effect, especially to finally have the complete english set of Hellsing and also I'm thinking about giving Trigun a go.

Samurai Deeper Kyo is awesome and way different in the manga- some reason Kyo is more ecchi...who would of thunk it, a male being MORE ecchi.
I think there are 3 or 4 different story lines to FMP- which the next season starts in August. *happy*
I got dL about half of the 20 volumes of Naruto...das gud. :)
Trying to remember what other manga's I am waiting for...Love Monster is cute but way to ecchi to bring out. Has a wolf boy in it...me happy. hee hee

Well they have novels and manga's for FMP!. And the novels are still going on. I wished that they would work on putting the novels out in english too since that takes more place with the true storyline while the manga is more focused on the school setting. Plus it seems like there is alot of info in the novel that covers alot of ground compared to what we don't see in the manga, including Tess'a bro and what his role is.
Everytime I see someone talk about the Naruto manga, it just makes me wanna pull my hair cause of missing out on so much of it and I can't believe how much is out already. Why do they have to make it so damn hard to acquire these things online. Especially when half of the older stuff you have to get on iRc and I don't deal with that.
Love Monster sounds interesting.
I heard VIZ picked up Kenshin now to release in the manga.
