Damn, its Friday already? Its funny how taking Mon night off from work can really mess with my mind. Plus this is also my overtime weekend, oi vey!

WAIIII!!! I'm so far behind on recent anime [livejournal.com profile] wardove has for me. Between the slow ass DSL for the past two days and bubba reformatting my harddrive yesterday and today, what is a girl to do? ^_~

Bubba has been my hero all this week. I got these Naruto figures at Akon and tried to put them together. Keyword here for me is try. I found that the Naruto, Kakashi, and Iruka were a bit of a toughy. The damn directions/pics were so small so it was hard to piece each part together. I had bubba help me out and lets just say he pretty much put all of my figures together (except I did Sasuke and Sakura).

I still think that bubba had fun putting them together ^_~
I wouldn't know what I'd do without him *lol* But these figures are pretty nice, not bad on size and made of some decent plastic. I want to go back and glue each piece togther so that way they stay on.

So [livejournal.com profile] wardove you won't see much of me around till probably later on Sunday (which I'm hoping bubba should have my compy ready by then) but I hope that I might catch you on chat later tonight when I'm at work.

Might as well end this with a silly quiz I swiped from Anna.

Zombie_Hero
Like Ash from the Evil Dead trilogy, you are the
hero. Congratulations. As the chainsaw toting
king of witty one-liners, you certainly know
how to handle any of those undead nasties
heading your way, don't you?

Those are so cute! I did find on Ebay at one time an action figure of Sasuke, Kakashi and Naruto. They come with a cute scroll and changeable hands like most of the action figures from Japan.
Men love putting things together- it is in the back of their minds. They will snatch it out of our hands to play with it. And it is cute to watch them. :3

Ash...tee hee hee...Ash is cool.
I did see a guy from A-con on the fansveiw that looked almost like Richard. He even did a double take.

I saw them too last week and had a shit fit! I'm just hoping that someone will soon pick them up and sell them in the US cause I'm not paying that much for fucking shipping. After shipping would come to around $35 and thats just way too much for just one figure. Hell even Alucard isn't that expensive and he's a nice looking doll/figure too.

True true, I was surprised that hubby never wanted to put my GW models together when I 1st got them but then again, he would just think of them as childish things and wouldn't even think about touching it. He did help me pry apart some pieces that I couldn't get undone.

And the funny thing about that, is he was one of the main guests at Akon '99. I was shocked when I heard that.

Oh yeah? Do you know what pic it was or a link to it?

Its been so long that I've seen the movies and I long to do so. I would like to have that special edition dvd set, I heard that the documentary that Bruce did that is on that dvd set and it includes footage when he was one of the main guests at Akon '99 (I believe it was that yr, I just know that he was a guest at Akon).

That you are, girl.

I've got for waiting for you...

Wolf's Rain 18

D.N.Angel 10

Saint Beasts 02

Dear Boys 06 & 07

Scrapped Princess 07 & 08 (though you might already have 07)

Weiss Kreuz Gluhen 10

And anything else that pops up between today and tomorrow morning that we both watch.

OH! I got the package in the mail yesterday, thanks so much, for snaggin' me those things at Akon!

It took me just under two hours(add in the 100 interruptions) to put all the pieces and parts together, not too hard really, though Kakashi's lightening background gave me a few fits. But they're all together and happy now, setting on top of my mirrored dresser top along side my Inuyasha figurines.

Not had a chance to watch FMP DVD or the Akon tape, it's hard now with my mom living with us to do anything. I now have no privacy whatsoever and little free time, being that it's taken up caring for her and my two kids, and now it'll be more stressful with Alex being out of school and home for the summer.

I am so ready for 2004, 'cause 2003 for me has totally sucked for the most part.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble or whine. :(

But the figurines and the tape and DVD do make me feel a whole lot better.

Thanks again. ^__^
