Akon Hellsing cosplay pics

I hope these links work. I just uploaded the pics, I don't care how fancy it looks to display them, I just wanted a place to put them up for the time being. I didn't take many pics of the other few Hellsing peeps only cause, you can find them elsewhere from the con and plus I didn't think that the others were all that great, except for the few that I took pics of.

Granted, I use to love getting my pics taken but now that I'm older, I can't stand how I look, mostly it depends on what I'm wearing though. I'm also glad that I didn't buy those red contacts cause who needs them when your eyes turn out red in pics anyways? ^_~

I'll get to work on the others either today and part of tomorrow since I have some free time to kill at work.

Yeah the part that took me by surprise was how well the alteration lady did on making more room in that coat. I want to make a smaller vest so it doesn't look so huge on me, hence why I didn't care much for how some of my pics looked.

I hope you can make it for Afest, if you need a room to stay, I will have one available.

Ooh... black leather coat. Very nice. The Gloves? I loved the gloves! And I think it's hilarious you got red eye in all the pictures... it DID save on buying contact lenses!

Hehehehe, it is rare to see an Alucard coat in leather, since most of the times, we associate that with Vash cosplayers. I kinda wished the length was a bit longer so it would still fit in with what the red looks like.

Hehehehe I didn't realize something about the gloves till later when I looked harder at them. Bubba printed it out backwards instead of switching it. But you can't tell unless you grab my hand and stare closely at it. I too was really happy on how the iron on transfer worked since we have an ink jet printer I was afraid it would look too blurry.

I didn't think that I'd get red eye cause of the setting we have on our digital camera but I'm glad it worked out just right ^_~

I also have yellow shades too that go with the red but when I asked my friends which ones I should wear, they all said red since the yellow ones made Alucard look too hippyfied.

DA~AMN That costume looked great! The gloves looked perfect and I am not used to seeing the black coat version.
And I will comment
on the red eye too- did help with the look.

Danku!! It was just alot of luck that we had when looking for the coat. I found a long red coat and showed my friend and then she looked through the rack and found the leather one. Even the way the front of the coat has that inner cut around the waist is pefect cause thats how his is too. When I look at other Alucard cosplayers, they don't do that with their coats.

I'm pretty happy too with how well the symbols came out since we have an ink jet printer, I was afraid that the pic would come out blurry. And then that incident when bubba first ironed on the symbol and couldn't peel it off the glove, I was almost going nuts.

Yeah it does take a while to get use to see the black version, its probably why not many ppl came up to me. I think I will work on a sign and carry around some printed fanarts and carry around my mangas along with the article that said what his real outfit color was. Gotta educate the peeps ^_~.

The thing with the red eye, I didn't even think about it till I was working on posting the pics and caught onto it. *snickers*

hehehehe yeah that is Duo cause I was standing in the autograph line for Scott.

Scott was prepared for the pic cause I told him the night before when we all got together about how I was going to be wearing fangs the next day. He was telling me that he has a pair too that he should start wearing from time to time when he goes to certain events. It would work really well for Wolverine and Kouga (IY). That man has good memory when it comes to certain things and ppl. Yeah those red eyes are from the camera, I didn't even think about the red eyes till I was working on getting these pics posted and I sat there and laughed. HA! HA! Take that you $80 worth of theatre red contacts! Behold the power of the camera! MUAHAHAHAHAHHA! I'm REALLY glad I didn't buy those contacts now.

Thanx, glad you liked the pics. I think for the most part, those that I did take pics of did exceptionally well with their costumes.

WAI! you look so great. i know i was there and i told you this when i saw you, but i'm telling you again. that gun the other alucard has is very bad ass, but your costume is a million times better . . . so, if we make YOU a bad ass gun you'll have everybody beat =^_^=
