To those that had some sort of fun yesterday, hope you had a nice one.
Man! Today feels like Sunday and when tomorrow comes around, I'm not sure WHAT it will feel like, probably just like another sunday but only twice.
Myself, pretty much it was just another day except for having off work. Got off work 2 hrs early Fri morning, went to bed early for a change and woke up around 3:30pm wondering what to do. Didn't want to bother with the sister-in-law cause even if they were doing something, I didn't feel like eating late, going out on the boat and getting wet for awhile, and if lucky enough, going out on the lake to watch other ppl set off fireworks, then go home to sleep. I just made dinner, did dishes, watched R&S that I taped Thurs night, watched some of I love the 80's on VH1, and then downloaded some hentai *giggles*
Sad part, I didn't have any booze in the house to at least make me feel like I was doing a little partying with just myself, well I did have one bottle left of Schimirnoff Black Ice but that didn't help any. Heard all the booming going on around 9:30 but didn't bother to go outside cause of not being able to see much cause of the trees being in the way and of course being eaten alive by the bugs. Wouldn't even have paid to peddle out on the paddle boat cause I didn't want to be a victim of a stray firecracker while out in the middle of the lake. I went to bed at 11 and didn't really feel like I slept any when bubba came home from work a little after 2am and couldn't really get back to sleep then. I guess I shouldn't have drank that coffee earlier.
Sucks though cause I did have off work but I still have to come back this weekend to work overtime *sigh* Now my summer holidays are kinda fucked cause of this, I noticed I have to work overtime TWICE for Aug, beginning of the month and during Labor Day weekend. Sure the little extra money is nice but not when I have to do this. Plus overtime is never fun when I have to find a place to crash out so I don't have to make those trips back and forth to the house. At least after work today, I'm going to bubba's aunt and uncle's house, I just hope they don't drive me up the wall. I also hope their pool is ready to swim in, that will keep me occupied for a bit and I brought the laptop so I can either work on some fics or watch some anime.
As for the new Ren & Stimpy that was on Thurs night, this time it wasn't so bad. Mr.Horse was on this one as a shrink and boy did Ren have one fucked up childhood, he tortured this poor frog when he was a kid and let it suffer. Now if only they would've had an eps like this for its debut, I don't think many ppl would be so turned against it now. Their first eps was definitely not the kind to show right away to make a statement.
And as much as I'm still kinda mad at the WR situation, I'm going to try and find time to make my usual entries about what I watched before I leave work today.
