I heard that ADV just picked it up. Came down from the wire at AX during ADV's panel. So now for us who have been getting DNA, makes me wonder how long till they take that down now. And I'm not overly excited about this being picked up. Sure its a cutesy cutesy anime but not enough for me to plunk my money down later. Its bad enough of trying to think about how I'm going to come up for the money once WR comes out and once Naruto gets picked up cause that's going to eat my money unless I should just wait till they offer the FULL boxset like what they have done for DBZ's saga's.
Damn! Sure its nice and all that these companies are picking up these new series but it really puts a damper on things when it seems like they are biting off more than they can chew. Gotta make the money, gotta make the money, gotta make the money, seems to be their only focus right now.
Still pretty pissed about all of this news, not sure how long till I calm down.

I noticed that you added me to your list and I *do* remember you from the Type O Negative community ( we agreed on the different elements of what each release brought to us)
I added you back ^_^
I love Anime as well...I tend to draw more realistically, but once in a while I'll make beautifully demonic manga girls and guys ^_~
*cheers

I decided to just gack this from the TON comm. and put it here cause I don't want to say stuff that might piss other fans off there.
While I love doomy and gloomy musical aestheics, I think a bit of manic-depression quality is needed to keep things more interesting. I found that I never wanted October Rust or Life is Killing Me to end.
Yeah thats true, you can't have all up beat or hard heavy pounding sounds in each song. I'm the same way too w/ those two albums. When I finally fell in love with LIKM, I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I want more!!! I became a TON fan back in summer '95 when I was getting my tattoo and the dude had his wife play certain songs off of BK. I was like "who is this and what a funky sound." and fell in love with them. So I went out and bought all of their older stuff and BK and I really didn't think about anything new till I joined the army in '96 and went shopping one day. I was looking in the music section and saw OR and FREAKED OUT!!! I had no clue they were coming out with a new one and I couldn't stop listening to it when I got it. More so that I wore OR out and had a few scratches on it that I had to buy another one. I even got some of the ppl that were in the army with me to listen to that cd and they loved it. Probably one of my all time favs by them cause its so sexual, sensual, and calming.
Then the first time I heard World Coming Down, I couldn't wait for it to end, which was a disappointing feeling. There are some great songs on it though, just not in that succession ^_~ The unrelenting, deep somberness made it drag at first.
Its funny when WCD came out, NIN's The Fragile came out too so hubby and I bought both cds. He listened to NIN while I rushed to hear TON. Needless to say that when I heard WCD, I couldn't believe my ears. When I do get a chance to push myself to listen to it, I feel the same way about everything you said.
With Type O Negative, you can always tell what stage of life Peter is in and what the dominant mood for him is. He tells his own stories. But it is always nice to see/hear various sides to his moods/thoughts/character.
Thats true, I think its what makes the band their own unique self. Not only that but they have their own sound and don't really copy anyone thats out there unlike all this new shit coming out. This has been the only safe haven of new cds that has come out recently. I do want to get MManson's new one but I'm kinda afraid how "commerical" he might have gotten, I mean I liked Holywood but I'm trying to go by my older sis's advice on how the new one sounds.
