iki_pueo I had to draw this after Luffy had climbed on the mountain. The little guy has stolen my all symphathies.
Takes place during the Drum Island/Chopper arc and Luffy had accomplished his goal on climbing the mountain to get a doctor. The actual scene in the anime is just as heart breaking as the art portrays.
ETA: Here is the eps that the art was based on. Eps. 83 has both Luffy climbing the mountain and when he made it to the top.
