I was quite shocked when I got word of this. I'm so excited about it too, I haven't seen this show since, well, the late 80's before they took it off tv. The only time I got the chance to see the show was while I was waiting for the bus. I only got to watch at least 15mins of it before the bus came so half the time I never saw the endings of the eps. It was rare if I was able to catch an ending or two of the show. I think its great how they are offering it as a 4 disc set.
Here is the link that has all the news about it::
Jem on dvd
This would make a great wedding anniversary gift for this month. *nudgenudgewinkwink to a certain someone who might be checking my lj out*

I agree with you. I would have never thought that the Jem dolls were a flop. It seems like I and all the other little girls at the time wanted those.
When I was 13, my dad took all our dolls and donated them somewhere when we moved. Damn orphans, what the Hell do they know about Jem? I am still bitter >_<
Heh.
*LOL* I can feel the bitterness coming through my monitor. But I can understand where you're coming from.
When I was in kindergarten we had show and tell and I brought my Jem doll. It was still pristine and everything even though I had it for a while. Some other girls brought their Jem dolls and they were all messed up. Some of them cut the pink hair out so the doll would look more like Jericha. Their dolls' earrings didn't light up any more. Why did one of those little bitches steal my doll? I was traumatized. Still am really.
