First off, One Piece has been eating my braiiiiiiiiinnnn but thats for another entry later.
2ndly There is a spoiler, BIG spoiler under the cut for those that might be following the series but haven't got this far or just those who aren't watching it but might later.
3rdly.....*flails* AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH.........
ALL this time I seen pics of this hot looking guy, I had NO F'ING CLUE that Ace was Luffy's brother! *keels ded* Hell, I had no idea that Luffy even had siblings.
Sooooooo........to those on my flist who is caught up with the anime and/or manga, does Ace have an occurring role or decent role in the series?
SPOIL ME SILLY cause I have a looooooooong way to catch up. I only have up to #100 on the anime, haven't read the manga yet (lord this series is going to be the death of me, I'll NEVER get anything done at this rate!!!!!!!!) And I have no clue how long its going to be till I can catch up. But if you feel that its important that I don't know, then I guess I'll just have to sulk till I can find a quicker way to acquire the anime. (manga is no problem) Speaking of the anime, would anyone on my flist be able to point me or provide a quicker way to get 101 up to the recent eps? Megaupload is taking forever, plus it will only allow so many from your ISP before it tells you "NO, you can't download anymore from me till later."
Another thing too that I'm dying to know unless there is no relation to it or has not been mentioned yet but is there by any chance that perhaps Gol D. Roger is related to Luffy or is that just a coincidence?
Here are some caps I couldn't help but take of him from #94. I might take a break from watching the anime till I get more eps up my sleeve, I don't want to be jonsing myself for too long. Eee! And he's got freckles!

Anybody have any fanart links of Ace they could pass my way. I know this is asking for too much but no yaoi please. My squick senses are tingling telling me that the fandom no doubt pairs Ace off with Smoker, Luffy and whoever else. So yeah, if there are squickable pics that I CAN avoid, thats fine. Or any decent One Piece art sites.

scarbie, Fox is dropping One Piece starting this coming Saturday. So that link I gave you is your only way of watching the series now since you don't have cable.

But wow, you have up to episode 100! I have episodes 1-5, and 46 (thanks for pointing that one out because it was HILARIOUS! A series that long, I'm going to have to buy another spindle of CDs. Also if I have any hopes of catching up I have to download at least 3 episodes per day!
But over 200 episodes?! That's nucking futs!

Keep in mind I did get a hold of some of those batches so that helped a bit but I could kick myself in the ass for deleting the stuff I had from the Arlong arc. I wasn't going to worry about keeping this series but as I got farther into it, I started to really enjoy it and thought it'd be nice to have it on hand. I have about 30 more eps to catch up where I deleted and then work on getting stuff after 100. *sighs*
This series makes me laugh so much and cry. I just got done watching the Chopper arc this weekend and as much as I adore Chopper, I don't think I can handle watching that arc very much cause I practically bawled through the whole thing (aside from the times I laughed too). Sunday was a very moody day which didn't help since it was soon that time of the month. I watched the 2nd Bridget Jones movie which had me crying in certain spots, then went and watched the rest of the Chopper eps that made me cry even more. I was a bawl baby mess. Damn hormones too, I'm either fine, pissy, or very emotional.
Glad you got the chance to watch #46. Buggy is more funnier originally than what he comes off as in the dub. He seems more of a prick in the dub, I think its the way the voice actor handles the character.
So I take it you don't happen to have eps 8 do you? When I tried dl'ing it last week, the link is bad. If you don't have it, I did let the girl know that the link wasn't working and was going to reupload it. But I'll just hold back what I think will fit on disc with the eps cause I need to burn the eps as I collect them.

Yeah, thats what I'm trying to do too. I try and get at least maybe two eps dl'ing on my compy, one on hubby's and I think I'm going to start and see if I can't get one going on the laptop without timing out my connection.
I found the main sub page for the eps and the batches they have of the earlier eps but now it seems like no one is seeding them so I just have to stick with those Mega links for the time being.

OH I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! I thought Naruto was bad for how long it is but this takes the cake. I don't think Bleach will even hit the 100 mark. I think they should end it after the Save Rukia arc and just hold off on animating anything else from the manga till later. It's not like it'd be hurting business if they took a break like that.
I'm almost afraid to start reading OP manga now. My eyes and my brain will never forgive me unless I take my time *shiftyeyes* Gotta pace myself or I will truly never get any writing done.
I took so many caps of the silly shit that I'll have to zip and upload for you and see if you get inspired for any icons. Course I just took a bunch of Ace too that I wouldn't mind having something with him done.
