Nothing much with this eps. Was wondering if Renji would show up or not since Rukia is back though I can't wait to see what was being said when he was talking to her, especially on the phone. As for Ishida, I feel bad for the kid, he looks so useless and pitiful. I don't quite like the way they are handling him in the fillers. Good to see a bit of daddy in this. I'm also curious to see what was said when Renji crashed through the window and crashed into daddy.

This was too adorable and funny. Rukia's reaction to seeing Claude's stuffed animal form. I just KNEW that she'd say something about Chappy Bunny and she did!

I agree that the Ichigo/Renji stuff is annoying but that view is in the minority. Once quick glance at the ep 70 comments at
I have mixed feelings about the fillers. I'm not wild about it and it is quite obvious that if (and it is definitely an "if") the anime works in the new manga arc, there will be significant reworking to adapt the manga storyline to the anime storyline and that bums me out a little because the finer details of the manga is going to be lost.
But I understand the business standpoint of why they are doing what they are doing and it can't be helped. It has happened to other manga adaptations and in a way, Bleach is faring better than say, Rurouni Kenshin did or even Naruto. My son was a big Naruto fan until the fillers came in and they lost him completely.
