This is a first where I'm like totally bored out of my mind. Not much has been going on aside from this shitty weather. I took off work Mon and Wed thinking that the roads were really bad. By the time late afternoon hit, the roads were pretty dry and there went 16hrs worth of vacation time wasted on nothing. Though the other guy I work with who lives closer to work said that roughly 80% of the employees never showed up on Monday and not many showed up yesterday either. I don't mind the 30'ish degree weather cause it IS winter but I could do without all the wet stuff. If it wants to do it, it should wait till the weekend when I don't have to be out in it, damn it!!
I want to write but the stuff I either need to complete or start anew just isn't flowing through my noggin like I want it to. I guess it would be a good time to catch up on some anime that's still on the laptop.

Since it seemed like this past holiday was an Avatar spree of ppl receiving the show, talked about the show, and the ones I had burnt on disc for ppl as well, I'm thinking of uploading Season 1 and 2 for the taking like I did with Dexter. I'll probably start working on uploading the eps this weekend so I have enough on hand for you peeps to download. Might as well get it ready since I do believe Feb. is when the new season starts(?)
Speaking of Dexter, those who dl'ed the eps, I still want to hear from you guys on what you thought of the ending or just how much it made you think who was really the killer and what you thought when it was revealed overall.

ARGH! I finally got around to watching dub #18 of Bleach today. To me, the dub is nothing but a HUGE disappointment and it won't get better. And even the FEW characters who have okay voices, don't make up for the shittyness elsewhere. The conversation with Renji & Rukia in her cell annoyed me to no end. WHY is she calling him "MR.LIEUTENANT?" "MR.OFFICER?" WTF is with the whole mister bullshit??!! (I don't quite recall what she called him in the sub) I kinda liked Rikichi's voice but even his dialouge was changed in regards to the Hell Butterfly. In BOTH the sub and in the manga, he calls his fake butterfly Jennifer. WHY change anything??!! And when Renji is heading to the cell and those girls greeted him, he sounded nicer when he's like "Yo" (or something to that extent) not "at ease" and the dub sounded so pissy when he said it. *headsmash* Yeah, yeah, I keep torturing myself on watching this shitty dub and constantly bitching about it but maybe I'm just a masochist that way.

And to end it cause I will warn my flist now, you'll now doubt get sick of me posting the banners or talking about it but I don't care.

That's it! And yes, I giggle at the scene every time too. Even during that scene, you could feel something between them (just weren't sure yet at the early stages) in the sub, the dub just makes it like they really could care less.

I still watch every Friday, because my friend has to watch with her kids and I am a 'team player' and I watch and we snorfle at it together over MSN. :) But Renji makes me wanna cry. *punches air* ItoKen = Renji FTW!

I haven't watched Avatar yet but thanks again for sending it to me. When I start the series I'll definitely let you know what I think.

About Dexter, I didn't want to say too much in my comments because someone who hadn't seen the series yet might've gotten spoiled and send me tons of hate emails. One thing I want to do is sit down and make a post about the show because it is so good.
Some of the people on IMDb had me rolling because they said that Michael C. Hall looked like the son from the Bernstein Bears. I can't find that post anymore but man that had me cracking up because at first I wanted to call BS because he's so hot but then someone put links to pictures of the two and he kinda does.

I'm really weird when it comes to my vacation time. I carried over nearly 3 weeks worth from last yr into this yr. I think we can only earn 215hrs before it quits building up. (the hrs pends on how long you've been working there) I'm cautious like that cause I want to make sure I have enough for the times that I AM doing something (though that's much later into the yr like late July and late Aug) and still have something there in case something comes up. They kept picking on me at work about all that time I have saved up and that I should just take a day or two off just to get away from work. It's hard to say where I'd rather be bored at; work or home. *lol*
I think you'll really like Avatar. Good animation and good voices too!
I'll upload Bleach dub #18 for you tonight and give ya a link. The first half is when Renji visit's Rukia's cell, the rest of the show after that is when Urahara is starting to train Ichigo.

OMG! I totally know what ya mean about not saying too much in comments. It was so hard for me not to say much when I posted the links for the show. The reason I mentioned it again in this post is that I've been DYING to discuss OMFGWTF'eryCANYOUBELIEVETHAT?! anything within the show. The only person I've been able to do that with is my older sister. You should totally do a write up soon on you lj about it and maybe get some of your flist to get into it as well.

The scene the second Dexter pic came from cracks me up. It's one of my favorites. The way he smirked when Rudy said, "Jiminy-fucking-cricket" was great.

OMFG! I can't stop laughing at the comparisons. Someone must have a pretty good eye if they compared Dexter to Brother Bear.
And yeah, Dexter makes some pretty good expressions that has me cracking up.

HAHAHAHA! That has happened to me too! And it sucks because you can't really write anything at work. I can see my supervisor saying, "That's a long memo you're working on!"

Oh man, it's been pretty damn cold. You should have seen me yesterday. I had on two shirts, a sweater, two pairs of pants, and two pairs of socks. And I could STILL feel the cold.
The building was freezing at work. Every one put in work orders for the heat to be checked. The engineers weren't much help. They were just like, "Your windows are shot because the heat is coming out 82 degrees." *sighs*

And that's what saddens me about the dub. Then again, this is VIZ and half the time, they don't take time and care into making sure how the voices are for the characters. There are veryvery few of the voices that are tolerable but what really put the nail in the coffin was fucking up Renji's voice. I put myself through this torture cause I'm curious how everyone is going to sound once SS gets going. I can't even stand Ishida's voice. *shudders* I think the Ocean Group would've been a GREAT cast for Bleach. I can still pic. Scott McNeil doing Renji's voice, would've been great for the role. That's why it didn't make sense on who they got for voices since VIZ had Ocean do IY.
As I told someone else in a reply in this entry, the scene when Renji goes to Rukia's cell you could feel something between them (just weren't sure yet at the early stages) in the sub, the dub just makes it like they really could care less. Rukia wasn't as snarky in the dub like she is in the original.
And while I've heard Avatar is good, I fear, yes fear, getting into yet another series...
It's a really great show. I'm glad I gave it a chance and no matter how many times I've seen Season 1, I haven't gotten tired of it yet. I haven't seen Season 2 as much as I have for S1, I need to redeem myself on that. Hell, I still haven't watched the last eps of S2. I don't know what I'm scared of. By Monday, I should have a good bit of eps ready for download if you want to give an eps or two a try.
